Yesterday morning my brother and I left Crete and made our way to Florence. 2 planes, 2 train and a taxi later, we were at my new apartment! None of my roommates were in yet, so we just crashed on the couch for a few hours. We explored the city a little bit, and then ventured back to my apartment where my new roommates were just getting in.
All of my roommates go to the same school in New Jersey, so not sure how I got put in this group! They are here through their college program with about 30 other people from their school. They are all super nice and I’m excited to get to know them all!
We went out the first night to an Irish pub, which was fun, but my roommate and I headed back earlier since I was tired and she was waking up earlier the next day to go to Cinque Terre. Hopefully I’ll get there this trip!
