Sleep deprivation is definitely catching up with me. I woke up around 12pm today, but functioning is slightly an issue. The girls came over at 2 and we hung out for a bit, they used my computer and such… I basically sat there in a daze. We then took the bus to a nearby city called Fiesole. I was so proud I figured out how to get there and back with no issues! The day was beautiful and a change from the city was exactly what all of us were needing. The town was super quaint and quiet. We walked up a hill to see a beautiful view and then checked out Saint Francesco’s Church, which was also on the top of the hill. It was a pretty church that was attached to a museum of Buddism things and mummies… looking back it was pretty random, but I don’t think any of us were functioning that highly to realize it was a weird combination. It was surprisingly really neat tho—and free, so naturally we liked it. We then walked down the opposite side of the hill and stumbled into a pretty cemetery. All of the tombstones had pictures of the person on it, which I oddly liked. It made it seem more real, like it was just a stone marking some random person, but an actual person—kinda weird but whatever.

We then continued on home, stopped at the store and then we made dinner at my apartment! I made chicken and pasta (apparently wayyyy too much pasta since I have a ton in my fridge still) and one of Megan’s friends, Catrina, made delicious bruchetta! It was a fun and relaxing dinner. No going out, since we have to wake up early for Cinque Terre tomorrow!
