Pitti Place

This morning I woke up early and trekked it out to the Pitti Place across the Arno and made it there by 9am! It’s like a 40 min walk… Anyways, I got there and it was so quite and nice. I walked through the costume gallery that had beautiful old gowns from the Medici family, then through the gardens. It was nice to finally be away from crowds and up in the hills. I just walked around the gardens and played around with my camera, trying to learn how to manually get the right exposures. I’m getting better at it, but it’s still a lot of trial and error.

The Duomo literally just popped up when I turned this corner

The Duomo just looked cool from all different angles!
After about two and a half hours I walked back and passed out for a little while before class. Later that night, my friends and I went to a club called Twice that was really fun! I think I might go back there for my bday.
Two of my roommates and I!
